| We raise CFA Burmese. We believe in raising kittens with lots of love and attention to ensure proper socialization. We have a small number of cats and breed as a hobby only. We enjoy the Burmese breed and we decided to breed this fabulous breed in order to preserve it. There is no other breed quite like the Burmese, and we cannot imagine life without one! Breedings are carefully done with an eye towards show with our main emphasis being health and temperment.
The Burmese cat does not have a typical cat temperment. They are very docile and people-oriented. They are very devoted pets, it almost has to be experienced to be believed. They are usually up for whatever you are doing, and insist on participating! The Burmese cat is generally easy to care for, their coat is such that the only grooming they need (and will ask for!) is daily petting, but a show cat always looks (and smells) much better after a bath. Otherwise they are heavily muscled and sturdy, a Burmese cat should not be dainty. All Burmese are shorthaired with a minimally thick coat which doesn't shed much in spring. Very much a social butterfly, the Burmese demand attention and deplore being alone. With an outgoing nature, these cats are sure to be the life of any party.
